She was predeceased by: her husband John L. Spearman, Sr.; and her parents, Leroy Chiles and Lois Parker Chiles. She is survived by: her children, John Lynn Spearman and Michele Payne (Glenn) of Greenwood; her granddaughter Irisha A. Payne; and her great grandchildren, Austin J. Payne and Kaylin Payne Holloway. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Percival - Tompkins Funeral Home (330 Magnolia Ave, Greenwood, SC 29646). The lying in state will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Allen Chapel AME Church (506 County Rd S-1-3, Greenwood, SC 29649). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at the Oakbrook Memorial Park (3007 US-25, Hodges, SC 29653).
