He is survived by: his wife Katherine Talbert Stevens; his son Ernest Stevens, Jr. (Olivia) of Maryland; his siblings, Betty Dorn (Calvin) and Johnny Stevens of Greenwood; his grandchildren, Robin Stevens and Jaleel Stevens; and his cousin Carolyn Gray of Washington, DC..
