He was predeceased by: his spouse Beverly Brown Grier; his father Francis Calvin Grier; and his brothers, Manford George Grier and John Calvin Grier. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Gutzke Grier of Greenwood; his daughters, Elizabeth Hayes Richter (Kyle) of Greenwood and Margaret Anne Grier of Greenwood; his granddaughters, Anne Stuart and Helen Richter; and his sister Kennedy Grier Proctor (Dan) of Greenwood.
