With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gene Shirley of Greenwood, South Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thomas Shirley and Ellen Opal Everly Shirley; his sister Mary Tinsley; and his brother-in-law Lester Lambert. He is survived by: his siblings, Faye Lambert and Jim Joyce (Maureen); his nieces, April Pruitt (Jay) and Christi Poore (Bryan); and his great-nieces, Kirsten Poore and Kinsley Poore.
