He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Davis and Carrie Scott Davis; and his siblings, Ruby Weathers, Irma Fox, Vera Turner, Broadus Davis and Leonard Davis.

He is survived by: his wife Donnie Sue Cason Davis; his children, Donald Davis of Greenwood, Beverly Vanvoust of Clinton and Linda Gail Joiner of Raleigh, NC; his stepchildren, Stevie Campbell of Honea Path, Scottie Campbell of Anderson, Becky Foster of Honea Path and Peggy Price of Bradley; his sister Clara Riley of Saluda; his grandchildren, Mariza Brewington and Hunter May; and his great grandchild Maggie Sue.
