He was predeceased by : his wife Cora Kemp Blair; his parents, Joseph Branson and Lona Belle Grant Blair; his brother Charles Edward Blair; and his close friend Betty Fuller.

He is survived by : his son Branson; his daughter-in-law Maja; his grandsons, Jack T. and Ronin D. Blair; and his sister Jo Anne Blair Burt.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Harley Funeral Home and Crematory (1025 Main St S, Greenwood, SC 29648).
