Harriet W. Lanthren Obituary
We announce the death of Harriet W. Lanthren of Greenwood, South Carolina, who passed away on October 6, 2026, at the age of 98. Harriet will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Louis Lathren; her parents, William M. Willingham and Ethel Bouknight Willingham; her sons, Stan Lathren and Terry Lathren; her brothers, Billy R. Willingham and Dendy C. Willingham Sr.; and her brother-in-law Billy T Davis.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Kathy Lathren; her sisters, Rita Douglass and Clara Jean Davis; her grandchildren, Crystal Autrey (Frankie), Casey Lathren (Caitlin), Lindsey Perez (Vince), Travis Lathren (Stephanie), Nick Lathren and Dana Lathren; and her niece Martha Bagwell (Sam). She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Greenwood Memorial Gardens (3302 US-25, Hodges, SC 29653).
