He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest Carlton and Phyllis Snyder McWatty. He is survived by : his children, Scott McWatty (Amanda) of Mount Pleasant, Jeremy McWatty of Spruce Pine, NC and Lindsay Lawrence (John) of Hodges; his siblings, Sally M. Sprott (Tommy) of Ninety Six, Robert McWatty (Becky) of Hartsville and Jim McWatty of Greenwood; and his grandchildren, Bella McWatty, Evan Lawrence, Abbey Lawrence and Noah Cooley-Cannon.
