We are sad to announce that, on December 30, 2022, at the age of 92, Jerry Jung (Greenwood, South Carolina), born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jerry Jung to pay them a last tribute.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alvin Jung and Dorothy Jung; his wife Margaret Jung (Meg); and his siblings, Sandra Klug of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Russell G. Jung.
He also initiated National Science Foundation-funded research regarding the chemistry of plant cold tolerance.
