He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Johnny Meaders, Sr. and Mildred Brown Meaders; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Meaders. He is survived by: his wife Bernice Going Meaders; his children, Joseph Meaders (Allie) of Abbeville, Ashley Anderson of Lexington and Leslie Perez (Philip) of Austin, TX; his grandchildren, Avery, Seth Anderson, Layla, Emery Perez and Keegan Joe Meaders; and his brothers, Roy Johnny Meaders, Jr. of Piedmont and Allen Brown Meaders (Connie) of Lake Greenwood.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Blyth Funeral Home (1425 Montague Ave Ext, Greenwood, SC 29649). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenville Memorial Gardens (7784 Augusta Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673).
