He was predeceased by: his parents, John V. Giles (Giles) and Helen Louise Young Giles; his sons, Trevor Giles (Dickie Chrisley) and James Giles; and his sister Sherry Ann Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Erwin Giles; and his children, Cody Bill Giles (Lindsay) of Abbeville, John Edward Giles of Hilton Head and Stacy Lumpkin (Renee) of Abbeville. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Of Abbeville Cemetery (2470 Old Abbeville Hwy, Abbeville, SC 29620).
