He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Regina Kneisel and Edmund James Bray; and his siblings, Ned Bray, Jr. and Nancy Bottomley. He is survived by: his wife Mary McGovern Bray; his daughters, Sonya A. Bray of Melbourne, FL and Stephanie Bray Sponseller (Thomas) of Lexington, SC; his stepsons, Kevin McGovern (Linda) of Rockway, NJ and Shawn McGovern of Greensboro, NC; his sister Betsy Bray of Chatham, MA; and his grandchildren, Chandler, Anna Bray, Matthew, Katie, Alice, Ethan, Tripp and Sarah Anne.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Frog Song Farm Sanctuary (https://frogsongfarmsanctuary.org), an amazing rescue sanctuary who took his beloved donkeys Danny and Daisy, when he fell sick or to the Paralyzed Veterans of America organization.
