He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert Strawhorn and Letitia Maynard Strawhorn; his son Michael E. Wells; his siblings, James William, Eugene Strawhorn, Dot Strawhorn Simmons, Rose Strawhorn Hart and Frances Strawhorn Wilson; and his son-in-law Bryan Harris.
He is survived by: his children, Billy Wells (Amanda) of Ninety-Six, Ann Harris of Whitmire and Debbie Harris (David) of Whitmire; his sister-in-law Sara Strawhorn of Hodges; and his pet Evvie. He is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren.
