With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Keeter Horton of Greenwood, South Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Keeter left this world on April 8, 2026 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Helen Keeter Pearce and William Charlie Pearce (Class); her husband Ernest Milton "Sonny" Horton (Class); and her children, Helen Horton Hunt and Charlie Horton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Anne Horton (Lawrence Bernstorf) of Murrells Inlet, SC and Hollis Horton McCall (Jeff) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; her grandchildren, Grice Hunt III (Caitlyn), Jamie Hunt (Annie), Laura Horton (Daniel Becton), Katie Horton (Khamari Smith), Heather McCall, Karen McCall Holbrook (Alex), Olivia McCall and Kyle Bernstorf; her great grandchildren, Helen, Hollis Hunt, Ella, Katie Hunt, Alaya Smith, Lucy and Oscar Becton; and her caregivers, Angela Conway, Victoria Ubah, Tatiana Brown, Janet Omoyele, Tamisha Bryant and Lorriane Wilson of Livelong Wellcare.
