She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Furman and Ruby Dell Shipman; her grandchildren, Abbigail Blackwell and Thomas Blackwell; and her sister Carol Leopard.
She is survived by: her children, Rene Werts, Steven Blackwell, Jr. and Susan Godfrin; her grandchildren, Kristopher Werts (Kasha), Jeremy Godfrin (Haylee), Courtney Werts, Corbin Godfrin, Elise Godfrin and Maegan Godfrin; her great grandchildren, Emma Blackwell and Skylar Godfrin; and her siblings, Evelyn Rankin (Charles), Preston Shipman (Barbara), Elaine Shipman and Harriett Shipman.
