The memory of Rose Whaley of Greenwood, South Carolina, who passed away on April 20, 2025 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Wayne "Bill" Whaley; her son-in-law William Kinney; her grandson Kyle Whaley; and her brothers, Teddy Gomillion and Robert Gomillion.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Whaley (Terri) of Anderson and Susan Kinney of Greenwood; her grandchildren, Lauren Greer (Jonathan) of Hodges, Ryan Boggs (Mason) of Greenwood, Taylor Bottini (Bailey) of Greenville and Jackson Whaley of Charleston; her great grandchildren, Wyatt Greer, Maci Greer and Weston Whaley Boggs; and her caregiver Beth Evans.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rose's memory to the MUSC Children's Hospital, that provided excellent care for her great-grandson, Weston.
