It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Andrews of Greenwood, South Carolina, born in Madison, North Carolina, who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Ruby had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Ruby may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by : her spouse Geter P. Andrews, Jr.; her parents, Thomas "Tom" Ogle and Bessie Chandler Ogle; and her daughter Susan Andrews. She is survived by : her children, Linda Jones (Mac) and Kenneth Andrews (Peggy); her sister Jo Stratton; and her grandchildren, Melissa Chrisley, Stephanie Frick (Andy), Michael Melton (Susan) and Derrick Jones (Brandi). She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel (1025 Main St S, Greenwood, SC 29646). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
