She was predeceased by: her parents, Raleigh Peterson and Florence Peterson; and her siblings, Georgia Peterson, Elease Warren and Register Nicholson.
She is survived by: her children, McKinley Goodwin, Jr. (Eddy) of Jacksonville, FL, Pandora M. Goodwin of Greenwood and Rev. LeShown D. Goodwin (Janice) of Greenwood; her grandchildren, Donta Dupre Goodwin of Lynwick, KY, Cheryl NaCole Smith of New Orleans, LA, Byron Blanton Smith of Columbia, SC, LaShonda Jannice'Goodwin, Rhonda McKenzie Nance (Kalo) and William Anthony Goodwin of Greenwood; her brother Herman Peterson of Memphis, TN.; and her daughter Reverend Thessa Smith (Byron) of Greenwood. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
