She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lamar Ficklin and Ethel Dove Ficklin; her son Jeff Peppers; and her brother Jimmy Ficklin. She is survived by: her sons, Tracy Peppers of Greenwood, Phillip Peppers (Diane) of Bradley and Ken Peppers of Waterloo; her cousins, Kathy Suddeth and Pat Gunter; her stepchildren, Dickie Gardner (Angela) of Greenwood, Jennifer Alexander of Greenwood and DeeDee White (Paul) of Lexington; and her caregiver Rita Floyd. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
