She was predeceased by: her parents, DeWitt Albert Pope and Nora Goss Pope; her son Jerry Lee Johnson, Jr.; and her grandson-in-law Rodney Redd. She is survived by: her children, Nora Bell (Jeff) of Eatonton, GA and Dr. Richard Johnson (Kelli) of Lumberton, NC; her pet Phoebe; and her grandchildren, Kara Johnson Sprouse (Butler), Jamie Redd, Samantha Joiner (Montie), Crystal Thrift (Trey), Mitchell Bell (Samantha), Jeffrey Bell, Jr., Madison Wales (Dean), Lynsey Hoppes (Peyton) and Erin Johnson. She is also survived by twenty-two great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
