She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Dianne Lake (Ernest Lake); her grandchildren, Alexis Simpson McGee (Michael McGee) and Devin Simpson; her sister Flora Grant (family: Jade Fisher Perkins, Ashlei Fisher, Adyn Keller); and her granddaughter Crystal Lake Akinnuoye. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and adopted grandchildren.
