She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Monroe and Bertha Gorham Monroe; her son Richard "Rick" Pitt Bliss, II; her granddaughter Jean Marie; and her siblings, Edward Monroe, Lewis Monroe, George Monroe, Willie Monroe, Clarence Monroe, Edna Pettit, Marie Swartz and Dorothy "Dots" Rollins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Cox (Robert) and Ginny Wagner (Mark); her brother A. L. Mike Monroe; her grandchildren, Jessica Nelle, Christy June, Dustin Larkin-Bliss, Bliss Nicole (Nick) and Mark Alan, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Destiny Mirah, Tyson Clay, Jadah Marie, Lillee Rose, Fenton Ray, Cali Chañlle, Andrew Richard and Marah Jo; her great great grandchild Mylo Amir; and her godson John L. Monroe.
