With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Skip Lyle of Greenwood, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 31, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Lyle and Sylvia Brooks Lyle. He is survived by: his siblings, Walter "Walt" Lyle, Steve Lyle, Sr. (MaryLynn) and Patricia "Patty" Wicker (Eddie); and his nieces and nephews, Dana Lyle Bey (Robert), Steve Lyle, Jr. (Tara), Travis Lyle, Josh Lyle (Abby), Sylvia Martin (Russel), Grace "Gracie" Wicker Cromer (Joseph) and Hannah Lyle Prince (Blake). He is also survived by 10 great nieces and 2 great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont, 408 W Alexander Ave, Greenwood, SC 29646.
