She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Harris and Willie Oren Blackwell Harris. She is survived by: her husband Samuel Turman; her children, Rico Turman, Myrn Turman (Tiffany) of Greenwood and Tiffany Hawes (Fernandez) of Greenwood; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Frazier of Sayreville, NJ, Beatrice Blakely of Brooklyn, NY and Earline Anderson of Hodges, SC. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Percival - Tompkins Funeral Home (330 Magnolia Ave, Greenwood, SC 29646). The lying in state was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Paul AME Church (4222 Cokesbury Rd, Hodges, SC 29653). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at the Greenwood Memorial Gardens (3302 US-25, Hodges, SC 29653).
