He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Dixon and Nellie Lou Gooch Dixon; and his brother-in-law Jim Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Marie Traynham Dixon; his children, Jeff Dixon (Velvet) of Greenwood, Rhonda Threlkeld (Travis) of Ninety Six and Ben Vinson (Kiley) of Lagrange, KY; his grandchildren, Molly Vison, William Vison, Chris Day (Marie), Jennifer Kent (Nick), Justin Trull (Amanda), Stephanie McFerrin (Gary Helper), Andy Threlkeld (Peyton Truesdale) and Ashley Threlkeld; and his sisters, Joanne Nichols of Jonesboro, TN and Sandra Dixon (Nancy Cooper).
