He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Franklin "Joe" Rogers and Virginia Weeks Rogers; and his son Andy Rogers. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Wayne Rogers (Pam) of Greenwood and Karen DeVue Ashley (Johnathan) of Ninety Six; his grandchildren, Hailee Ashley of Ninety Six, Granite Ashley of Ninety Six, Kristina Graham of Greenwood and Brandon Langley of Greenwood; his pet Lucy; and his brothers, George Rogers (Ann) of Ninety Six and Mitchell Rogers (Katherine) of Greenwood. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
