He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harry Cochran and Caroline Milford Cochran Petty; his wife Nancy Murphy Cochran; and his brother Samuel Lee Cochran. He is survived by: his children, William "Chris" Christopher Cochran (Nicole) and Laura Cochran Hewitt (Rick Laing); and his granddaughters, Caroline Elizabeth Hewitt and Samantha Jayne Cochran.
