He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arthur "Ott" and Lyda Pearl Henson Fowler; his son C. E. "Gene" Fowler; his daughter-in-law Katherine Fowler of Greer; his son Nathan Fowler of Greer; his siblings, John William Fowler, Larry Fowler and Sadie Fowler Robison; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Lockhart, Kenneth Taylor and Sylvia Lockhart Bruce.
He is survived by: his daughter Melinda Fowler of Greer; his grandchildren, Beth Smith (Dale) of Greer, Zach Fowler of Greer and Bradley Fowler of Greer; his great grandchildren, Jinnise Smith and D. J. Smith; his siblings-in-law, Gerald Lockhart (Brenda) of Greer, Alvis Lockhart (Gloria) of Pensacola, Williams Lockhart (Cathy) of Greer, Sarah Taylor of Rock Hill, Linda Lockhart of Clearwater and Vicki Fowler of Greer; and his caregiver Mary Ann Hines.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Mount Lebanon Baptist Church (572 Mt Lebanon Church Rd, Greer, SC 29651). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount Lebanon Baptist Church Building Fund, 572 Mount Lebanon Church Road, Greer, SC 29651.
