He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Groce, Jr. and Alvis Williams Groce; and his brother Bill Groce. He is survived by: his wife Diane Holmes Groce; his children, Carlen Groce of Nashville, Tennessee and Jason Groce of Charleston; and his siblings, Bryan Groce (Cecilia) of Fountain Inn and Barbara Prichard (Rick) of St. George, Utah. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
