Ben L. Samuel Obituary

Ben L. Samuel, Jr., 94, widower of Madeline Laverne Kough Samuel, passed away December 20, 2017. Born in Eudora, Arkansas, he was a son of the late Ben L. Samuel, Sr. and Gladys Blair Samuel and a member of Heritage Bible Church. Surviving are a son, Maurice L. Samuel of Burlington, Iowa; a brother, David Samuel of Columbus, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Forrest Johnston of Greer, South Carolina, Ben Samuel of Springfield, Missouri, Joseph Samuel of Iowa City, Iowa, Jeremy Samuel of Burlington, Iowa and Michael Samuel of Iowa City, Iowa; eight great-grandchildren, Allison Samuel Wilcox and Alexis Samuel both of Springfield, Missouri, Noah Samuel and Tyler Samuel both of Burlington, Iowa, and Karis Johnston, Fox Johnston, Zachary Johnston, and Caden Johnston all of Greer, South Carolina; and a son-in-law, Donald Kamb, Jr. of Greenville, South Carolina.

Mr. Samuel was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara S. Kamb. Funeral services will be held 11:00a.m. Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Heritage Bible Church.
