She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Buford Bruce; her parents, S. B. Fleming and Mae Bell Hipps Fleming; her sons, Daniel Buford Bruce and Timothy Clifton Bruce; and her siblings, Donnie Fleming and Nettie Waldrop.
She is survived by: her daughter Melinda B. Shockley (Curt) of Travelers Rest; and her daughter-in-law Beverly Bruce of Greenville.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 1:15 PM to 2:15 PM at the Wood Mortuary, Inc. (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Wood Mortuary Chapel (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650).
