She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Wilton Hamby; her parents, Dee A. Wood and Marie McElrath Wood; and her siblings, Elsie Westmorland and James Kenneth Wood.
She is survived by: her children, Theresa Childs (Tim) of Greer, Karen McAlister (Scott) of Greer and Kenneth Hamby of Greer; her grandchildren, Jeremy Hix (Dawn), Justin Hix, Emily Molina (Tony), Katie Adamson (Dylan) and Corey Hamby; her great grandchildren, Cory Metcalf, Trey Hix, Hannah Hix and River Scott Adamson; and her great great grandchild Ace Bregg.
