With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Beverly D. Staton (Greer, South Carolina), born in Greenville, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 14, 2025 at the age of 72. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Beverly may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her father Robert Luther Ellis, Sr.. She is survived by: her mother Shirley Moore Ellis; her fiancé Wayne Holcombe of Easley; her brothers, Michael Staton of Taylors and Bob Ellis (Loren Beard) of Columbia; and her aunt Genevieve M. Cooper (David L.) of Easley.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Praise Cathedral (3390 Brushy Creek Rd, Greer, SC 29650). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Praise Cathedral Chapel (3355 Brushy Creek Rd, Greer, SC 29650).
