He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Spearman and Mary Gladys Bagwell Spearman; his siblings, Jerry Spearman and Linda McLeod; and his grandson Taylor Evans.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carol Gaines Spearman; his children, Miriam Nelson (Burriss) of Anderson, Stephanie Martin (James) of Powdersville, Jennifer Perdue (Billy) of Marietta, GA, Shannon Weis (Randy) of Richmond, VA and Chad Collins (Sherry) of Marietta, GA; and his siblings, Jim Spearman (Julie) of Piedmont and Mary Ann Barnett of Conway. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19, it is suggested that masks be worn and social distancing observed.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
