With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Holcombe (Greer, South Carolina), who passed away on September 12, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Rachel Holcombe; his wife Marcelle Denise Gorse Holcombe; and his siblings, Joseph "Joe" Holcombe, Betty Burgess, Bennie Mae Plemmons and Patsy "Pat" Young.

He is survived by: his children, Barbara Barnett of Spartanburg and Bob Holcombe (Paula) of Anderson; and his grandchildren, Rebecca Crow (Harry), Lewis Barnett, Hunter Holcombe and Jennifer Holcombe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Legion Post of Greer, 421 Snow Street, Greer, SC 29651.
