He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Dean Smith, Sr. and Bethania Belue Smith. He is survived by: his wife Ina Lee Coleman; his pet Penny; and his siblings, Betty Lou Millwood (Daniel), Joyce Smith, Fred Smith, Jr. (Bertha), Randy Smith (Linda) and Billy Smith (Sheila).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 330 Victor Hill Rd, Greer, SC 29651. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery.
