She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin "Sonny" Quinn Hood; and her parents, James Preston and Myrtle Faye Nix Garren. She is also survived by niece and nephew, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at the Wood Mortuary, Inc. (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wood Mortuary Chapel (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650).
