It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Ann Wright in Greer, South Carolina, who passed away on October 25, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Beaty and Ethel Davis Beaty; and her siblings, Willie Beaty III, James Beaty, Johnny Beaty, David Beaty, Harold Beaty, Douglas Beaty and Mary Lucille Beaty.
She is survived by: her husband Elgusta Wright, Jr. of Greer, SC; her children, Veronica Renee Brown (Timothy) of Greenville, SC and Darren Wright (Christie) of Greenville, SC; her grandchildren, Morgan Brown, Joshua Brown, Makayla Strozier, Jayden Taylor and Maddison Wright; her great grandchild Mylah Barber; and her brothers, Paul Beaty (Shirley) of Lexington, SC and Michael Beaty (Darlene) of Union, SC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Community Mortuary (361 Meansville Rd, Union, SC 29379). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mount Rowell Baptist Church (534 Adams Lake Rd, Union, SC 29379). A burial was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at the same location.
