He was predeceased by: his brother John Robin Emra; and his mother Sally. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Emra (Bobbi) of Greer; his daughter Julie Emra (Jake Engels) of Ypsilanti, Michigan; his stepchildren, Meghan Carli (Dan) of Chicago, Jamie Corbet (Chris Sperruzzio) of Mahwah and Devon Corbet (K. C. Dutcher) of Santa Fe; his grandchildren, Kavi, Naveen, James, Liam, Caleb, Theo and Owen; his nieces, Susan Butka (Paul) and Lynn Emra; his nephew John R. Emra (Susannah); and his sister-in-law Alice Emra.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Unitarian Society of Ridgewood (113 Cottage Pl, Ridgewood, NJ 07450).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Performing Arts School at the bergenPAC (https://www.bergenpac.org.), an organization that supports the arts for children and in schools across New Jersey, or to the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum (https://www.lcmm.org).
