She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Franklin Pruitt; her brother Thomas "Sarge" Ballard, Jr.; and her grandson Ricky "R. D.". She is survived by: her sons, Michael "Mike" Pruitt (Debbie) of Taylors and Ricky D. Pruitt (Rose) of Greenville; and her granddaughters, Shannon Pruitt Yeargin and C. Taylor Pruitt. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
