He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Jones and Earlene Gibson Jones; and his grandson Jason Kelby Allen. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hughes Jones; his children, Eric Jones of Florida, Charles Christopher Jones of Oregon and Clara Joyce Jones of Taylors; his stepdaughter Donna Baker of Taylors; his grandchildren, Lance Eric Jones, Christian Luke Jones, Britton Alexander Jones, Taylor Brianna Jones, Tyler Taylorson, Tatum Poole, Carleigh Dee Thorpe, Malakai Donnell Thorpe and Gracie Olivia Jones; his great grandchildren, Remi Jones, Maggie Jones, London Jones and Hadley Poole; his godchildren, Kesha Pulley and Crystal Shumpert; and his close friend Chris Valentine.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wood Mortuary Chapel (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650).
