He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence Smith and Gertrude Smith; his wife Nancy Greer Smith; his children, Jo-Ann MacMunn (Joe) of Clinton, Massachusetts, Cheryl Pellicie (Steve) of Sumter, Wendy Wilson (Barry) of Goffstown and Keith Smith of Plaistow; and his brother Stanley Smith of Uxbridge. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Wood Mortuary, Inc. (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Wood Mortuary Chapel (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105, which were both Charlies favorite charities.
