He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper H. Thomason and Willie Ruth Wood Thomason. He is survived by: his wife Sarah S. Thomason; his children, Tiffany Dawkins (Leon) of Greenville, SC, Kimberly Thomason of Greer, SC. and Curtis Thomason, Jr.; and his siblings, Tecora Prince of Taylors, SC, Elnora Wharton of Fountain Inn, SC, Hassola Shell (Theodore) of Fountain Inn, SC, Lucille Thomason of Mauldin, Joan Thomason of Simpsonville, Ralph P. Thomason of Atlanta, Grady P. Thomason (Phyllis) of Piedmont and Archie H. Thomason (Veronique) of Greenville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary (1011 Augusta St, Greenville, SC 29605). A burial was held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Greenville Memorial Gardens (7784 Augusta Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673).
