With sadness, we share the passing of Danny Stone (Greer, South Carolina). Danny, born on July 17, 1948 in Greenville, South Carolina, passed away on November 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Fred and Lois Daniel Stone; and his wife Dianne Stone. He is survived by: his son Jason Stone (Amanda); his grandchildren, Bridgeman, Charley, Chesney and Waylynn; and his close friends, Billy Wilson and Marion Bolding. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wood Mortuary, Inc. (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the First Baptist Church of Gowensville (5650 SC-14, Landrum, SC 29356).
