He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Susan Hatch Collard; his parents, Laurence W. Collard and Edna James Collard; his son Thomas James Collard; and his siblings, Benjamin Collard, Roger Collard, Lawrence Collard, Donald Collard, Teresa Hamlin and Irene Simons.

He is survived by: his sons, Michael David Collard (Debbie) and Joseph Collard.
