It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edgar Sarrell StrangeJr. (Greer, South Carolina), born in Inman, South Carolina, who passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Edgar Sarrell Strange, Sr. and Mary Leona Hall Strange; his son Timothy Strange; his grandson Daniel Strange; and his great grandchild Rhyatt Strange.

He is survived by : his daughter Rhonda Carrigan (Dean) of Greer; and his grandchildren, Eric Strange (Taylor) of Black Mountain, Kathryn Marie West (Becky) of Travelers Rest, Paul Strange (Misty) of Travelers Rest, Jeff Strange (Jenny) of Hendersonville, Kathie Melton (Cale) of Boiling Springs and DeAnna Chisholm of Greer. He is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren; and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.
