He is survived by: his wife Gaynell Jackson Mayfield; his son Charles Gentry Mayfield (Jessica); his grandchildren, Josh Satterfield (Jeannie), Heath Satterfield (Kaylin), Michael Gentry Mayfield (Caddie Mayfield) of Atlanta, Lance Corporal Alexander Migacz (Emma) and Ashley Migacz; and his great grandchildren, Cora Lee Satterfield and Wes E. Satterfield.
