He was predeceased by: his parents, Rawlin Chard and Louise Jackson Hunter. He is survived by: his wife Linda Long Hunter; his siblings, Jerry Hunter of Pass Christian, Louisiana and Sandra Bradley of Augusta, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Leah Hunter Hare (Colton), Cole Hunter (Liliya Didok), Emma Hunter Johnson (Mason) and Addi Grace Hunter (Colt Bass).
