It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Paul Reid III of Greer, South Carolina, born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on April 17, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, George Paul "Jack" and Evelyn Scott Reid. He is survived by : his wife Leah Reid; his children, Anna Nichols (Kevin), Paul Reid (Whitney) and Scott Reid (Holly); his grandchildren, Hudson Reid, Jay Nichols, Foster Reid, Ellie Reid, Manning Reid, Charlie Reid, Molly Reid, Tate Reid and Edie Reid; his sister-in-law LeAnn Smith (Warren); his cousin Carey Scott (Melisa Bates); his niece Avery Krawczyk; and his nephew Douglas Smith.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes (639 N Main St, Greenville, SC 29601). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown Chapel (639 N Main St, Greenville, SC 29601).
