She was predeceased by: her mother Hattie Patterson Mayfield. She is survived by: her daughters, Sarah Helen McKinney (Eddie) of Spartanburg, SC and Phyllis Ann Fowler (Raymond) of Durham, NC; her grandchildren, Stephanie Ann Robinson, Jr. (Freddie L.) of Spartanburg, SC, Shannon Thompson (Bonikee) of Spartanburg, SC and Terrance Lamar Fowler of Spartanburg, SC; and her daughters, Gloria Yvonne Young, Sr. (Mark O.) of Chesapeake, VA, Sherry Lavette Fowler of Lyman, SC and Shayla Renee Fowler of North Carolina. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; along with a host of other family and friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Inc. (927 E Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29651). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church (109 Elmer St, Greer, SC 29651).
